Summary

After completing a long-term vision sprint for Windows, I was assigned to the Surface Hub team. I was tasked to bring the thinking from the sprint to the new version of Surface Hub. Our concepts for the vision were primarily focussed on new ways to manage content, I was tasked content management and the whiteboard feature. When I joined the team, ideation was highly derivative of core Windows. I was able to breath new life into the workstream, driving the team towards reimagining computing on a communal, cloud based device.

Various concept and process screens. Altough I was strictly tasked with specific areas, I always take the time to push on the wholistic vision amongst team members. This involves ideation across the system with hopes that at the least it can inspire new creativity.

Role

User Experience Designer responsible for Content Management, Authentication, and Whiteboard (free form canvas) on the Surface Hub 2 product.

I worked along side the Indistrial designers, and a team of UX designers working on other aspects of the product. I delegated tasks to two designers helping fulfill all tasks.
